President Obama Disses Hope Solo At White House Ceremony

President Obama threw some shade at World Cup winning goalie Hope Solo when he didn’t name check her while calling out the rest of her championship teammates during a ceremony at the White House.

The US Women’s Soccer Team arrived at the White House on Oct. 27 to be honored for their victory in the last Women’s World Cup. President Barack Obama, 54, personally called out several of the team members during a speech honoring the team, however one name was conspicuously absent from his list, starting goalie Hope Solo 33. Was POTUS dissing the frequently arrested soccer star?

It was a day of celebration for the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team as they arrived at the White House to be honored for winning the 2014 Women’s World Cup. President Obama made a speech that honored several of the individual members by name, however he never acknowledged Hope, who helped power the team to victory with her brilliance between the posts and who won the Golden Glove award as the world’s best goalie.

Despite her play on the field, her frequent arrests, including her most recent one from domestic violence, may have kept the President from individually honoring her.

White house and their coded ways of doing things tho...
